Left the Warfare, Kept the Craft: A Secular Creative After Latin Mass Faction Fights

It is a community-trauma / exit essay: what factional warfare does to a person, why projection happens, and why the living work now is secular creative production.

Mind 1 — Leaving the battlefield is not the same as hating the pews

Anthony left Catholic institutional politics — Church Militant employment warfare, traditionalist faction fights, the online purity arms race. Choir, feeding the poor, teaching, fitness: those can remain as human habits without being drafted back into diocesan conflict. Readers who love the Latin Mass deserve honesty: this site’s PR voice here is exit + craft, not a pretend magisterium.

What fueled the ugliest chapters was not “too much beauty in the liturgy.” It was factional ideology — including, in some traditionalist corners, Friday-prayer rhetoric, “perfidious Jews” language, and Talmudic conspiracy tropes that treat whole peoples as puppeteers of banks or a “NWO.” Those ideas are named here only as toxins some factions held that accelerated civil war inside the traditionalist media ecosystem. Anthony now rejects that politics. A secular creative business does not run on hate. If you need that said twice: he does not endorse antisemitic conspiracies.

Mind 2 — Scapegoat mechanics with sources (no invented priests, no invented crimes)

Houses in crisis look for a simpler villain.

  • Father James W. Jackson, former FSSP priest, is documented in public AG/federal summaries for child-pornography crimes, sentencing, and later laicization (Victims Civil Attorneys). Hard ethical lock: Jackson’s record only — do not assert other named priests committed CSAM as proven fact on this page.

Jealousy dismantling (Anthony’s account): Figures including Arlene Paraiso, on his telling, moved from friendly guides into traditionalist circles to participants in social-media demolition after romantic preference shifted. Label: his account of interpersonal conflict, not a court judgment. Parallel public cases of jealousy-driven false-accusation campaigns exist in open reporting; they teach media literacy, not automatic proof of every local rumor.

Projection script in one line: detect vulnerability patterns inside your own walls → assign them to the outsider photographer → call it protecting the flock. He did not do what they feared or assumed. False data.

Mind 3 — Craft after exit: Rodeo light, singer nights, influencer calendars

Exit without a craft becomes bitterness. Exit with a craft becomes a studio.
