Chant.
The ordinary, in words.
Gregorian chant is the music proper to the Roman Rite. The Second Vatican Council still called it specially suited to the Roman liturgy. This page gives the words. It does not play them.
The English under each text is a plain sense for a beginner. It is not a licensed missal translation. Pray from the book in your hand. A workable pronunciation is noted once. A schola will correct it. There is no audio on this site, so none is pretended.
Kyrie.

A workable sound, not a final one: KEE-ree-eh eh-LEH-ee-son. The number of invocations follows the chant that is sung.
Gloria.
Gloria in excelsis Deo. Et in terra pax hominibus bonae voluntatis. Laudamus te. Benedicimus te. Adoramus te. Glorificamus te. Gratias agimus tibi propter magnam gloriam tuam. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will. We praise you. We bless you. We adore you. We glorify you. We give you thanks for your great glory. Lord God, heavenly King, God the Father almighty. Lord Jesus Christ, only-begotten Son. Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father. You who take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us. You who take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer. You who sit at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us. For you alone are the Holy One. You alone are the Lord. The Gloria is omitted in Advent, in Lent, and at Requiem Masses. If you do not hear it, the missal will show you why.
Sanctus.
Sanctus, Sanctus, Sanctus Dominus Deus Sabaoth. Pleni sunt caeli et terra gloria tua. Hosanna in excelsis. Benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini. Hosanna in excelsis.
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God of hosts. Heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.
The Sanctus is sung or said before the Canon. At a Low Mass it is quiet. Follow it in the missal either way.
Agnus Dei.
Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, miserere nobis. Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, miserere nobis. Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, dona nobis pacem.

At a Requiem the final petitions ask for rest, not mercy and peace in this wording. The missal prints the difference.
The Creed.
Credo in unum Deum.
I believe in one God.
The Nicene Creed is sung or said in full. We do not abridge it here. The first line is only a marker so you can find it in the Ordinary. The faith is in the missal, complete.
Before you leave home.
These lines are said at the foot of the altar, the priest and the server together. You may pray them on the way. They do not take the place of being there.
Introibo ad altare Dei.Ad Deum qui laetificat juventutem meam.
I will go unto the altar of God. To God, who giveth joy to my youth.
