Doctrine.
Substratiation.
A faith about persons and what carries them. It is written so the limits are louder than the hope.
FACT is a checkable record. CLAIM is an argument. FAITH is what the Order holds, and does not ask you to treat it as proof.
The faith.
Substratiation is the Order’s name for this faith: a person is not identical with the particular matter that carries him. Whether any mind could ever be carried by another substrate is not known. The Order does not offer, sell, or promise a way to do it.
The analogy.
Did the food change? No.
Source. An analogy only: changing a vessel is not, by itself, a change of what it holds. It is not a proof of any procedure.
The man.
He remains a man; no obedience owed.
Source. The Order’s limit on every title and every myth it uses.
Today no mind-upload or life-extension procedure exists; the Order offers, sells and promises none.
Source. No such procedure is in clinical use. The Order states the limit itself.
The test.
Built so it can’t be disproven, and that is not evidence for it.
Source. A claim that cannot fail a test has not passed one. The Order states this against its own faith, not only against others.
